Google's latest figures show that Jelly Bean has increased its share of the Android Platform while Gingerbread's has again decreased. Android 4 is now very close to equaling Gingerbread in terms of users - which is good news.
The Android Platform Versions figures are based on the number of Android devices that have accessed Google Play and the latest chart is based on data collected in the 14-day period ending on February 4, 2013:

Compared to the previous month, Jelly Bean's share of the pie has increased by 3.4% while Gingerbread's has decreased by 2%. Ice Cream Sandwich, which up until now has been increasing its share, lost 0.1% but it still accounts for two thirds of the Android 4 market. Honeycomb, (V3.x), which already had a tiny share, lost 0.2%, the same decrease as Eclair (V1.1), meaning they each lost around 15% of their users. Froyo also lost around 10% with its 0.9% decrease of the overall market.
