Samsung has already released an update to its recent bada v1.2 SDK and has also introduced in-app advertising to enable app developers to derive revenue.
The new v1.2.1, which can be downloaded here, bundles an error checker to check potential errors that could occur during packaging of the app.

The introduction of in-app advertising, which took effect on January 1, 2011 means that developers can now monetize and earn revenues from their app. All the advertising revenue earned via the in-app advertising belongs to the developer and is not shared by Samsung.
