Image matters!
You may want to kid yourself that your choice of which mobile phone to use is entirely rational. You may certainly want to convince yourself that the phone you develop software for is a 100% logical choice - but... image matters.
The iPhone is stylish and "design" is its keyword. Android is geeky and "open" is its keyword. Blackberry is for work and "business" is its keyword. So far so easy.
Now for the really tough one - Windows Phone 7 is ? and its keyword is ?
It does matter because the answer tells you what to expect from your potential user.
These thoughts were prompted by the cartoon at C-Section Comics - reproduced below. It's not just funny it also happens to be true. Now draw the Windows Phone 7 line that is missing.
Difficult isn't it.
