For Version 8, GdPicture has built a completely new .NET library from scratch and it includes two new plugins.

The latest version of the GdPicture.NET. document imaging SDK has a GdPicture XMP Annotation Plugin and GdPicture PDF Plugin. The toolkit consists of AnyCPU .NET components that can be used to create, edit and display documents. The new plugins provide extended support for PDF, TIFF and JPEG images.

The GdPicture XMP Annotation Plugin extends the SDK with the ability to mark up PDF documents TIFF and JPEG Images, while the GdPicture.NET PDF Plugin is royalty free and provides extended support of the PDF format. The pure .NET assembly has features including PDF/A generation and digital signature support. You can use it to merge, split, modify and rasterize PDFs.
