OpenAI has provided a treasure trove of information for spreading knowledge about AI to the general public; understanding what AI is and learning how to leverage it by using tools like ChatGPT.

There's no age restriction, no prerequisites or having to paying for joining the Academy;everyone is welcome. To cater for that wide a variety of audience, the content is split into collections. So If you're a business stakeholder you should follow the "OpenAI for Business" collection which includes information on "Market research with ChatGPT" and "Strategic Planning with ChatGPT".

If you're a student you'll find the "ChatGPT on Campus" collection useful as it includes tutorials like "AI for Academic Success: Research, Writing, and Studying Made Easier" or "AI Career Prep: Resumes and Interviews".

If, on the other hand, you want to get productive at work by leveraging AI, then look no further than "ChatGPT at Work"
which mostly addresses developers since the topics here are on "ChatGPT for Writing & Coding", Prompt Engineering and Data Analysis.

There's also a section dedicated to "AI for K-12 Educators" about how to efficiently and at the same time responsibly use AI in the classroom. AI in the area of the classroom has made great advancements, since exploring the matter in our Artificial Intelligence for K-12 article back in 2019. The principles however remain the same :

The AI for K-12 Initiative wants to kick-start the discussion on how to incorporate learning about AI in the United States school curriculum, ultimately leading to national guidelines.

This initiative marks another attempt to supply the coming generations with the tools to cope in a landscape shaped by the 4th Industrial Revolution. The reasoning goes that in the near future and in one way or another, AI will affect most aspects of our lives, therefore kids should not just become consumers of this technology, they also have to be able to work with it in order to create solutions which collectively will make the world a better place.

For that reason the curriculum also incorporates the issue of Ethics in AI and promotes the racial and gender diversity of the participants in order to eradicate the associated bias.

Come 2025, the kids' interaction with AI has been rendered much easier.

What's of particular interest is that the platform also hosts "Developer Build Hours" where you get to hear from the OpenAI developers themselves on bleeding edge topics like Function Calling, Fine-Tuning, Assistants & Agents or Structured Outputs.

The final section of the platform is Events. Here forthcoming live streamed virtual workshops are going to be announced, as well
as hosting their replays for those not able to catch the live events. The subjects of the workshops vary a lot in trying to address the disparate audience. As such we find workshop on novices such as "Introduction to ChatGPT" or "AI in Action: Practical Uses for Work, Learning, and Life", while on the other end we find "Automate Knowledge Graphs for RAG: Building GraphRAG with OpenAI API" or "Streamline Business & Developer Workflows".There's something for every interest.

The events also include talks by third parties such as Miami Dade College, Georgia Tech and North Carolina Central University.

The content is constantly updated so make sure you join to keep up with the latest offerings.
