These will cover a wide range of topics, including using AI to detect disease, ethics in AI,and advancements in wearable technology..

As its title suggests the conference will address how artificial intelligence can give doctors insight into how COVID-19 will wax and wane, and how to prevent future pandemics - a topic that Complexity Explorer is also addressing as recently reported in Complexity Explorer Adds Tutorial On Pandemic Prevention

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Predicting Disease with AI, How AI Improves Clinical Decision-making
  • How AI is Helping Fight the Spread of COVID-19
  • Can AI Predict & Prevent the Next Pandemic?
  • Ethics in AI and Preventing Bias in Healthcare and Diagnosis
  • Top Use Cases in AI & How to Scope Them
  • What’s on the Cutting-edge of AI?

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to attend working sessions led by Udacity instructors, who are currently creating coursework for the upcoming AI for Healthcare Nanodegree program, where participants can collaborate on a project and gain practical skills in AI in healthcare that they can use immediately.

Udacity points out:

While open to all, the information shared at the virtual conference will be especially beneficial to data scientists, engineers with a focus in AI or machine learning, clinical researchers, medical students, and more.

Register for the conference here where you will also find the list of speakers. While it is free places are said to be limited and you have to agree to receiving marketing communication from Udacity.
