TigerGraph has a new version of TigerGraph Cloud, its parallel graph database-as-a-service platform. Improvements to the new version include enterprise identity and access management, support for single login, and enhanced data security.

TigerGraph Cloud is a fully managed graph database as a service.

It was designed to be natively distributed, and make use of a parallel model from the start, making more complex graph analytics possible alongside the ability to deal with much larger amounts of data.

TigerGraph uses GSQL, which is similar to SQL Turing complete, and has built-in parallelism. There's also a RESTful API and JSON output.

The latest improvement start with the ability for a single enterprise account to manage multiple users and their role-based access from a single portal. There's also a new simplified login process that the TigerGraph team says is aimed at boosting developer collaboration and productivity by enabling access and collaboration across multiple projects.

Security has been improved with the addition of dedicated, private, secure, and high-performance connectivity. TigerGraph is also more widely available with new regional access including AWS in São Paulo, Singapore and Sydney; GCP in Australia and Singapore; and Azure in Australia.

TigerGraph offers a free tier of TigerGraph Cloud in perpetuity that data scientists, developers, business analysts, students and other enthusiasts can use. This has now expanded to be available on Azure, making the free-tier support available on all major cloud platforms.

TigerGraph Cloud comes with a number of starter kits that are pre-built with sample graph data schema, dataset, and queries focused on specific uses such as fraud detection, real-time recommendation, machine learning, and explainable AI.

The latest version of TigerGraph Cloud is available now.
