The historical trend over the past six months shows that interest in Icecream Sandwich has shown a surge over the past month, or so and has largely balanced by a decline in the use of Froyo (Android 2.2), allowing Gingerbread (2.3.x) to maintain its dominant share.

The fact that Ice Cream Sandwich has more users than Froyo for the first time is an indication that Android tablets are beginning to take off. So although Jelly Bean doesn't yet figure in the area chart above, perhaps it won't be too long before we see it making an impact despite the fact that, at the moment it has just 0.8% share.
