Twain remains a standard for scanning and Data Technique's latest version of its ImageMan.Net Twain toolkit brings Twain support to Visual Studio 2010..

 

The ImageMan.Net Twain toolkit is a set of  Managed .Net WinForms controls and classes for building applications capable of scanning and acquiring images from Twain compatible scanners and cameras.

The newly released Version 3. supports the latest Twain Version 2.0 and 2.1 specifications and supports 64-bit applications and scanners

Integrated with Visual Studio its TwainGui control provides a Treeview oriented customizable scanner interface and returns scanned image data as .NET Bitmap objects for compatibility with other classes. Version 3 has Visual Studio 2010 Online Help and includes C#, VB/NET and ASP.NET client side sample applications.
